I am on my hardcore world And I cant Find any sheep around my base and i don't have enough string to make my bed so i was thinking beacause in my little mob room where mobs spawn and i kill them i very rare get spiders so i was thinking is there a way to make a room for only spiders to spawn and spawn fast so that i can get string because i'm scared to go out for beating spiders outside because last time i almost died.

I'm pretty sure there is a way to make it only spawn spiders. Xisuma did it once in a mob dropper in a video, but I don't remember how...

Why not make a mob dropper? Make it in the sky going down and you get mob loots including string.
