I started my server and i have been configuring it with some other people but i have run into 2 problems that i cant seem to find a solution for.
1. when i deop myself and put myself into the default group i cant seem to interact, drop, place or destroy anything. I have given the perm modifyworld.* to the pex group also towny.wild.* but it does not seem to work at all and i have not found anything that would fix my problem. The build permission is "true". It just spits out "Sorry, you are not permitted to do that here" in yellow text but no error in the console or anything. I checked worldguard and there are no regions where i am trying to edit the environment.
2.I have set the spawn inside a building but when a new player joins they spawn ontop of the building for some odd reason, the other thing is when i use /spawn i am facing in a totally different direction from when i created the /spawn point.
Any suggestions?

I found the problem i am pretty sure it was world guard having a fit but in the end i re configured worldguard, essentials and PEX and it solved everything but took me ages lol
I went back and had a look at what happened and it was not Pex or Essentials or the spawn plugin i use but rather only Worldguard having some fun with me. So if anyone else is having the same issue with not being able to edit the world even when assigned * permission it might be worldguard.
