Hello, I have been trying my hand at portforwarding for about 4 days now, I had it figured out day one but some forums say my router is a peice of crap so i guess that may be the reason. Anyways my router is a SMC SMCD3GNV For Xfinity service, I have everything portedforwarded correctly Here is the just of what i have setup

Service Name~~~~~~Type~~~~~~Start Port~~~~~~End Port~~~~~~Server IP~~~~Active
Minecraft~~~~~~~TCP/UDP~~~~~25565~~~~~~~~25565~~~~~~~26.43.**.*~~~~~Yes

I have it properly set up, but all ports are closed for me for some reason, even 25565 I have tried many ports and none work.

(And before some Nimrod asks me if i actually own the game and forgot to set Online mode to False, I do own the game and online mode is true)

If on windows

Goth command prompt
Type Ipconfig
Find ipv4
Next type up in Internet browser login
Find portfoward or find in firewall section

Then open the ports up

@DieDae I don't know exactly how to make a static IP.

@Knightspartan09 Wow, that was a pretty good troll there.

Just google it since it's pretty much against the rules for me to tell you to install teamviewer and let me set it up for you

Maybe you haven't been treating it right, some routers need to be treated nice. Take it out to dinner and get to know it, grow your relationship with it and it may trust you enough to open it. Sorry couldn't help it
