Need help with possible corruption
I was playing minecraft when all of a sudden my power went out, i loaded my minecraft world back up and everything seemed fine. It wasn't until today that i realised it had completely screwed over my world. I cant use chests/crafting tables etc, Broken blocks wont drop as items and everytime i go to save and exit the game crashes.
I replaced the .DAT files with an older backup and it seemed to work fine for a while until it just went back to being broken.
Im running 1.11.2 with forge and a couple of mods but they arent interfering with the problem

Exactly the same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I found this to fix it :

It looks to be daunting to install and get running, but its not as hard as it looks on first glance. It fixed my problem so its certainly worth a try for your world.
