Need help with server permissions!

Hey guys, I'm in need of someone who can help me! I need help with permissions. Now, I am familiar with permissions, yet some of the nodes I'm putting in aren't working. I'm currently using GroupManager, and I don't know if that's the problem. Should I be using that plugin? Should I not? Either way, I'd really love it if someone were to help me with this. If you do it correctly, I'd easily make you a Moderator/Admin. Here's the following groups I need:

Owner
Admin
Moderator
Donor
Default

Here's the following plugins I have:

ChestShop3
Essentials
EssentialsChat
EssentialsGroupBridge
EssentialsGroupManager
EssentialsProtect
EssentialsSpawn
PluginMetrics
SignLift
WorldBoarder
WorldEdit
WorldGuard
Stargate
Voxlesniper
(Planning on MobDisguise)

Now, I'm not going to say each and every command a group should have, but keep it in reason. For example, don't give a Default worldedit commands. I would like Mods to have MOST of the commands except /stop or /op, etc.

Also, is there any plugins that I should delete? Or any mods I should install?
