Need help with server plugins & 1.8
hi! so i used to host a server a year or two ago, but stopped for a while bc i was busy. now im playing minecraft more again and trying to start running my server again, but im having trouble with plugins. a lot of the plugins i used (mainly essentials) have stopped updating.
my server right now is running bukkit 1.8.8.
i wanted to know if anyone could recomment me new useful plugins that are still updating & are somewhat similar to essentials?
it also sounds like people are using spigot & have essentials, but i don't really know anything about spigot.
is it worth it to find newer plugins? should i try out spigot? advice? thanks

If you are using craftbukkit is most definitely worth looking into spigot, and as far as essentials goes it works just fine. But you need to look into essentialsx.
