i figured out how to make it without editing the groups.yml
Group manager I found it hard when I first started my server, it look me 1 month and 2 weeks to finally understand how to use it its Really easy for me now, and im sure that you will get there two just try hard and work your hardest thanks to me I didn't ask people for help im still running into problems with the groups and I know how to fix them but if you get some else to do it you wont know any think or you wont learn.,

A very common problem that I see people have with groupmanager is that they put the permission nodes in the /plugins/groupmanager/globalgroups.yml.
This is NOT were you would put permission nodes. You put them in the /plugins/groupmanger/worlds/world folder.
If you are just having a hard time getting "off the ground" add me on skype. jayman9696
I can give you my permissions folder that way you can see the spacing, how to set prefixes, inheritance, and other things. Then you can use that as a template for yourself.

no and i saw servers with way more ranks and i put it in the groups.yml

Here is why you should do your own perms.
Because you are a server owner. If something goes wrong and you need to change it, you are not going to know what to do.
I know its hard, but its part of being an owner, so suck it up and do it yourself.

Why would anyone make all these ranks for you and also they don't know what perms you want for each rank.
they could put in any donator perm and staff perm they want the ones i dont want i will just delete it and any default perm they want dont want that perm delete
