Hello, thankyou if you do end up helping me here, I have being playing on tekkit and recently i want to play on a server, but I don't know which tekkit you play on to play online with a server like there is Yogbox and vanilla and such please help if you do it will be much aprishiated.

When i tryed to join a server on Both the tekkit classic it says connection dissconected then when i tryed to join on tekkit lite it said the server was on 1.5.1 ?
Every mod pack is different. If the server says Tekkit, it usually means Tekkit Lite.
Their are 2 tekkit packets. Tekkit Lite and Tekkit Classic, if you wish to join a tekkit server it will be probably tekkit classic as it has more stuff in it. Tekkit lite is for beginners. If you are wanting to join a tekkit server go on tekkit classic. Yogbox, voltz and hack slash mine are completely different mod packs than tekkit. You should try out Feed the Beast, in my opinion, it is the best modpack. It brings industrial and magic together better that tekkit.
well actually believe it or not the tekkit packs are being updated and there was just 2 new packs added in the past 2 months
Voltz is the newest I believe, so you are getting the newer mods. If you are looking for all the mods that are always up date in a modpack, I would recommend any of the FTB packs.
well I enjoy voltz and tekkit classic or tekkit lite. If you have can get a server I can teach you some of the mods
