Hello,
Long story short I messed up my world's Nether and only the Nether Wastes biome now exists.
The different biomes do "exist" in a way and are all correctly generated, it's just that I messed up by doing something that I shouldn't have and now with the F3 menu I see that all those biomes are now counted as "Nether Wastes", therefore I cannot get certain mobs to spawn where they should (for example with only the Nether Wastes now I can never get hoglins). So I technically have different biomes but the game counts them all as the Nether Wastes.
So my question is, is there a way to reset the Nether biomes WITHOUT actually reseting the entire Nether realm with structures? I have built a lot of structures in my Nether realm so that's why I really don't want to just reset it...
As much as I have researched, the DIM-1 folder is responsible for the Nether, so if I delete it - it just resets the Nether but is there a way to ONLY reset the biomes as I have mentioned? And as for the version, I am playing on Java 1.16.4.
Any help is very appreciated, help me save my world :(

Cannot you make a copy of the world(new world)
Or replace the Nether files with these from an another world?

The affected terrain is from 1K to -1K and unfortunately it is the area where all my builds, farms are so I'd have to copy the entire territory which is massive.
So I don't think there's a way to copy something that big, or is there?
I tried to copy-paste as a schematic with World Edit but it's just too big and consequently doesn't work...
I'm open to any possibilities at this point because I've pretty much lost hope since nothing really works, so copy-pasting my builds from the broken nether to a new the same seed nether sounds good but if there's no mods that can do such large terrain, then it's out of question :(

So try to replace the nether files(before go to the normal world)
I think that's your only option, I cant think of anything else
You'll have to copy-paste your structures separatelly and if a structure is too big you'll have to split it in smaller parts and copy-paste each of them separatelly

But is that even possible? Which mod can handle it? I tried using World Edit but can't find the optimal size of what can it copy at maximum size because copy-pasting a few chunk at a time from 1K to -1K is insanely too much to do by copying single chunks.
idk I've never used WorldEdit or any similar mod, what I was saying is that you'll have to copy-paste it chunk by chunk
and maybe you can also use bots that build it block by block for you, it would still take REALLY long but you wouldnt lose your sanity
