Ive been hosting a server off my desktop with no problems up until now. We just upgraded to comcast business class internet, which came with a new modem. Even though I'm still using the same router, it changed my external IP address so nobody can connect to my server. I found my new external ip and told some players about it but they still cant connect. i can only connect if i use "localhost" to connect.
Im using a website to check if my 25565 port is open, and it repeatedly says that it is closed, even though i have the port open on my router settings.
can anyone help a brother out?
