Non-Forge mods with Forge Mods
It's my first time trying to use forge, and I need some help with it. I currently have Optifine and Zan's Minimap. (not forge) I want to get Damage Indicators mod with them, but that mod is forge, how can I get a forge mod with non-forge mods?

Forge mods and non forge mods will work fine along side each other.

Optifine and Rei's Minimap both totally work with Forge -- I don't know about Zans, but Rei's is just as good, if not better. -- Just put the zip/jar files of the mods into the mods folder.
Aww that is a bummer... so i guess I'll just have to get a forge version of the mod i guess..
You can't use non-forge mods along with forge ones. They will prevent startup, or just not load
