Hey guys! Before you read any further, this is a really complicated matter to me, and I want serious suggestions, nothing like "lul idk gl" or "Hello I am the CEO of minecrafthosting and buy our plan cuz i said so". Thanks.

I had a small prison community and all was going well. I had a total of $50 worth of donations from the community. Although it isn't much, it showed me that people actually cared. I found a really cheap host, and it was very new. And it was seriously, dirt cheap. $2.50/gig monthly. This was during the summer and I thought, "well, why not!" I got contact with the CEO and I was talking to him for a week or so. I finally moved all the files over, and I started there as if nothing happened, other than the fact, 1. It was cheaper for me, and 2. The players were happy because the lag went down drastically! I was really happy and the CEO and I would sometimes play minecraft together with me, when he had the time. A few days after I purchased from the host, the CEO said I was the first person to buy from his host. He also said he owned a previous host a while back, which slowly died out so he wanted to start fresh. After I heard that I helped him advertise his host and by the end of the summer holidays, he almost reached 100 unique customers.

When school started, looked like the CEO left for work/school too. I never asked, but he never talked after the holidays ended. It was fine until 3 weeks ago, when half the host went down. I was luckily on the other half and a friend of mine was worried about what might have happened. I spammed the CEO about this, and a few days later, he replied saying hes closing the host, and he's too busy. Just a few days ago, the other half closed, along with mine. The CEO said he would rent a vps to host his own server, along with mine, because we were friends. He also said that he would transfer all my files to the vps so everything would be fine. But 3 days, and nothing has happened ever since. No messages, and a lot of mad people spamming me on skype.

I thank you for reading this far. I really do. But I don't know what to do. Should I wait for the CEO to give me multicraft access, or should I move in to a different host? I was thinking to go with Endermite hosting but I am not so sure. Has anyone used them before? If not, got any good suggestions from server owners? It would help a ton.

Thank you, and much love.

BeastNode is pretty easy to use, and I've never had any problems with them - their help-desk are pretty quick to answer any questions you have too. c:

Try Minespan, they charge $1.50/GB. If you're not set in the US the ping may be less than ideal (they are), but they're the cheapest legit host I've been able to find. I've had a server with them for a year now, 95% of the downtime was me crashing it by copy/pasting several million blocks at once and similar worldedit/voxelsniper overuse.

If they're still sold out, try Glownode, they have a first month of $1.50/month and $3/Gb after that. Seems pretty decent to me, but I have no personal experience with them.
