Hello, I'm pretty new to OptiFine (it's awesome by the way) and I was wondering how to actually load in sign text. Every time I go maybe 20-30 blocks away the sign text disappears and it's driving me nuts. I've looked at all the settings and I couldn't seem to find an option to switch that off. Any advice? Thanks...

Does it really matter that much? 20-30 blocks away would't let you read the text anyway. It probably helps prevent lag. If you go to the point where the text disappears, just press ctrl to zoom in and it will appear again.
This isn't really a bug, in MCPE when I get far away from my rollercoaster the rails appear to disappear

What kind of disappear? if you can't see the text at all I recommend changing chunk loading under performance to default(or anything else) not multi-core.
If that's not the case, are you using a rescource pack? Because if you are you have to turn on custom letters.

I think that has something to do with the mipmapping setting. If you turn it off you should be able to see it.
