So I have gotten OptiFine recently and it was working fine until recently, where I am getting probably about a frame every 10 seconds. How do I fix this? (1.17.1 btw)

Do you have the latest version of Optifine? Do you use a resourcepack? If so, what happens when you disable that one?

Something similar happened to me when I tried using optifine, too
I would constantly get around 25 fps, while I normally get around 100
