I found that Optifine 1.7.2 doesn't work for me ever, I have used more than one version of the 1.7.2 types.
Windows 7.
If I go to the launcher, I click the Optifine file I want, then just I click on 'Play'.
Here it goes.
It just comes up with Minecraft, but the screen is all dark, & on the top left just like a world of Minecraft moving, idk how to describe it.
Please help!

Did you install it manually, or did you use the auto-installer? Did you try to install any other mods with it?

Well, when it have done downoading, something came called 'Optifine Installer' with stuff in it, & a 'Install' button, I clicked on the 'Install' button.
The installer create a new profile named "Optifine". Select that profile, and it should work.

Umm, I didn't download any of the types for the 1.7.2 version from Minecraft Forums.
