so i recently donated to optifine, and tried to download the newest 1.16 jar. i opened MC and launched it, exited out then downloaded it but i try to open it on my desktop and this message shows up -

You'll probably need Java. So, download it here, then retry opening it, but this time, right click, select 'open with,' then select 'Java (TM) Platform SM Binary)'. If it doesn't show up, select the option saying 'Choose Another App' and try finding it there.
Your java might also be outdated if you already have java installed.

Run this Jarfix file and see if that helps at all.
