Optifine is suddenly causing problems with textures.

Aah hello friends! Sorry if this is in the wrong place (I wasn't sure if this belonged here or in the Modding section), but I was hoping to find some help on here since I haven't been able to find anyone else with the same problem as me.

I guess I should get this out of the way now; I'm using version 1.8.9 with Forge on Windows 10. The mods, besides OptiFine 1.8.9, that I'm using are Schematica 1.8.9, Lunatrius Core 1.8.9, and Xaero's Minimap 1.8. The resourcepack I'm using right now is OzoCraft 1.8.

I noticed today that there seemed to be a lot more poppies than I remembered, so I broke them in order to place different flowers down, thinking one of my friends had just put all the poppies there. When I broke the "poppies," most of them became flowers I do remember having planted (after they were broken, they went back to being alliums and tulips and so on). On the ground and in my inventory, the flowers seem normal and everything looks fine. However, as soon as I place one of them, it looks like a poppy was planted and not, for example, an azure bluet.

Here's a few screenshots (under the spoiler), to show you guys what I mean.

Also, as you can see, some of the sugarcane blocks are darker than others and I have no clue why. Changing the lighting around them hasn't helped fix that but that's less of a problem than the flowers IMO.

I have tried pretty much everything I can think of, and at this point I know it's OptiFine with this specific resourcepack that's causing the issue; the default pack with OptiFine has no issues, and both the default and my current resourcepack without OptiFine work just fine, with or without the other mods I have installed. And the thing is, I've been using Optifine, Xaero's Minimap, Lunatrius Core, and Schematica with OzoCraft for almost a week with no issue up until today, and as far as I've seen the only change is the flowers and the sugarcane.

I've checked the textures inside the OzoCraft ZIP file I've been using for around a year, and everything looks the same when compared to a new OzoCraft 1.8 ZIP file that I grabbed off of here. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft twice now, uninstalled and reinstalled Java, redownloaded the mods one by one to make sure everything was up to date, and I've tried switching between single-player, my Hamachi server, and a few public servers, to see if there was any change between those, and it was the same on all of them. :c

The only time the flowers get difficult is when I have OptiFine and OzoCraft 1.8 on at the same time. I'd like to be able to keep using both, and until today everything was going smoothly, so I figure there's got to be some solution to this. If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Seems to be a problem with your texture pack.

I figured as much. ;^^ What's weird to me though is that without OptiFine it works just fine. xD I'll see how things go for now without it, lol.

Well flowers are by default not centered in the block to make things more natural looking

Aah thanks for the reply, but that's not the problem I'm having. ;^^ My issue is that when I place any one-block tall flower (aside from dandelions, I just found), it looks as if I've placed a poppy.

I worded things weird, sorry. Here's a screen capture I did real quick of what's happening.
