I just created my own server, and I want my friend to connect to it.
I CAN connect to the server on any computer in my household, but my friend can't.
I read up that it "might" be useful to give the friend my External IP adress, but I did and his Minecraft client says he "cannot connect to server"
Do I have to add his IP address to something or add his IP to some sort of permissions setting?
I have my ports forwarded, and I can connect on every computer on my network. Help please?

So, you have a static IP and the port 25565 forwarded?
Yeah, and I have the firewalls down, but he still can't connect
