Output log resolution mangled

Yeah so my output log suddenly went like this:
And I dont know how to fix this.
Ive tried:

- manually dragging the sides of the screen - didnt change the resolution
- maximising and minimising the window

This has already been reported as a launcher bug and fixed in a beta release. It's only a matter of time before everyone gets the update.
I've actually had this problem as well. I kind of assumed it was an intentional change, although it is incredibly annoying. I don't suppose it would hurt to make a bug report, as I unfortunately don't have a fix for this one.
