Per World Data Packs
I want to add a new world to my server with the goal of providing a modded-minecraft experience using datapacks. However, I don't want them to effect other worlds. Is there a way to have datapacks work in one world specifically? Like adding /execute in world <worldname> to them, or by using a plugin?

Are you talking about a certain dimension? or your entire save's worlds?

technically speaking a certain dimension, although the ability to have it applicable in multiple dimensions would be nice. each world file is considered by paperspigot to be a different dimension.

you can only do /execute in commands with datapack dimensions due to the specific structure that Mojang puts in place. You cant do it with paper/spigot worlds.

As far as I'm aware datapacks only work for the world they're put in, I wouldn't think a server would change that?
Each world save has its own 'datapacks folder'
I'd check in your file structures on your server to make sure this is still true.

on a server using paperspigot and multiverse, all datapack values, map values, ect are stored in the default world which gets loaded in first upon each restart. using multiple worlds counts as having multiple dimensions, any additional datafiles other then block and entity data gets stored in the default world.

yes with paper/spigot the only world that will load the data packs no mater how many worlds you have with data packs installed is the default world it sucks and i have been looking for an alternative but have found non so far
