Permission help

Alright, first, I am using essentials and more specifically GroupManager.

I am having extreme issues with trying to giver permissions to players.

Here is an example.
I am using a plugin called OcarinaSong

In order to give a player the ability to play a certain song, it says
ocarina.zelda.calm Allows users to calm wild animals (Currently only dogs) with Zelda's Lullaby
ocarina.zelda.tame Allows users to tame wild wolves with Zelda's Lullaby
ocarina.zelda.awaken Allows users to activate detectors for the song
ocarina.zelda.sign Allows users to create detectors for the song
ocarina.zelda.tameforriding Allows you to tame rideable pets with Zelda's Lullaby and a treat!


So, I would do
/manuaddp randomperson1010 ocarina.zelda.*

It says that it gave them the permission, but it didn't do anything on there end.
(It didn't really give it.)

Also, I'm having issues with just giving out essentials kick to my administrators
I use two kicking clients
Essentials and ultrabans

I gave the "Permissions" for both, and my admins still cannot kick players.
essentials.kick
ultrabans.kick


Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
