No this isn't another "plz help me write my perms."
I'm just wondering, what perm handler is everyone using since I can't seem to find one that has hit 1.7.2 yet?
I've tried PEX, bPerms and GroupManager. None seem to do the trick. PEX and bPerms worked flawlessly for me in 1.6.4. Now I can't seem to get permissions to work worth diddly squat.
There has to be something out there because I seem to be the only one that's out of the loops while everyone enjoys their perms except me.

Forgot to mention my problem that i'm actually having with the handlers.
Basically, in 1.6.4 my handler would drop users into the default group, and in the permissions file their name would appear along with some meta-data. Now... Well not so much...

I just tried Group Manager and honestly it confuses me because I never use it. I was comfortable with PEX, but it isn't working.
You shouldn't need to update GroupManager. As far as I'm concerned, it works just fine as far as 1.7
