Dont reset it and dont follow his suggestion, simply check your file against a parser i have one n my blog if you need it.
As i state on there the most common mistake people make with groups is, they dont space properly. I cant solve this jus tby looking at your text since formatting is lost on pmc so eiter post it in a code box or put it in pastie next time.

I´ll just some with an suggestion. You can reset the groups.yml and make a new one ingame. use commands listed below->
/Manuadd player rank - to rank someone
/Mangadd newrank - to make a rank
/Mangaddp rank permission - to add an permission to a certain rank
