PermissionsEx Not Working

GroupManager is not on Bukkit. It says "This project has been deleted.

I don't know what the issue is but in my honest opinion, I would just switch to GroupManager if I were you.

The downside is you need Essentials to run it though, but Essentials is a great plugin anyways.

I used PEX since it was available but recently it has been just horrible. I finally gave up and just manually transported my permissions into GroupManager (the format is basically the same) and it works fine now!

I don't think /promote works for anyone, try /pex promote, or /pex user username group set rank

If it is installed it says You do not have access to that command. But it didn't install even though I did it correctly.

Are you op or just a rank, if just a rank then you need to give permissions to do /setrank

No, SetRankPEX didn't work. When I did /setrank Doritos_7 Owner it said "Unknown command. Type "help" for help.

I downloaded SetRankPEX and it didn't work.

Get SetRankPEX and use that, so it goes /setrank [player] [rank]

/promote didn't work even though I did /promote Doritos_7. It said "Error in command syntax. Check command help."

Same thing happens to me, pex commands don't work alot in game so you have to do it in console.
