Persistent Minecraft Server Crashes - Need Help Troubleshooting!

I'll be happily playing along with my friends, and suddenly, the server crashes. The weird thing is, there's no consistent trigger for these crashes. I've tried various solutions that I found online, such as: updating Java can anyone help me out?

What exactly does it say after crashing? You can put PAUSE in the server running script so that you have time to read the error. Or look in the crash logs
