I see the problem straight away
Your indentations are all wrong. Default: true is meant to be default: true

I highly disagree with this. I have always used pex and its very easy to use. Just learn to use the correct indentations, spelling ect. You will have to do this with group manager too.

Your formatting on several instances is way off. Use an online yaml permission checker in order to fix that or I highly suggest notepad++.
Did you do those in the config? Or InGame?
