So i have just updated my bukkit server to Minecraft 1.7.2 and it is displaying my server as offline but it inst because i can still join it. I have seen other servers have the same issue. any ideas?

Well this is just a guess but with this update the way multiplayer works was changed. This may be causing this and it may be that the way to get online status has changed. If this is the case you would need to wait for PMC to add that to their system.
