Player Count Needs Boosting!
Hey, i have a server i have worked very hard on. I have advertised everywhere i can but still the player count is not going up.
There are people (or should i say kids) join and then leave immediately. And there is nothing wrong with the server, it is them. There is lots to do on my server but these 'kids' or people if anyone will criticize me, still dont get the point in trying out a new server.
So any advice on getting more players? And please dont state the obvious, like 'advertise all the places you can' & 'post on forums!'. i know that stuff. I need something new or something that will get my server flooded with players

you can't expect to get players over night. You need to wait for a while/long time. I have been doing this for over a year now and i only have a player base of 15-20+ players. It does take a lot longer then you think it does.

15 days isn't long at all to really be complaining about players not staying.

We're all in the same boat, some get lucky, some have $xxxxx to spend to get front page of popular websites.
Keep doing what you do, keep people interested with new things and they'll come.
Best to value the players you have than think about the players you don't have.

Really?? thats your suggestion. Do you not think i already do that. I interact with them all the time. I was hoping for helpful advice
