Please help me!
I need some help. I was a $105 donator on the server Minetime. When I donated, the policy was "Donators can't get banned." All of the sudden, the policy was changed, and I wasn't aware of this. Then, I made a mistake, and I was banned, even without knowing that I could even be banned. I want to get a refund, as they had a policy that I couldn't get banned, even though I was. What would be the best way to get a refund? Please reply as I am very worried I will lose my money.

you donated when the policy was you couldn't get banned, demand a refund, and if they don't you have all rights to take Legal action
Ok thanks, how would I use legal action?
Anyone else have an idea on how I could get a refund?
Anyone? I need some help
Anyone?
Ok I emailed the owner demanding a refund, saying that I will take legal action if not, what should I do now?
if you have a copy of the policy before you donated, when you donated and after you donated you can take legal action if you are in the right else you have no grounds of proof. post them in here or pm them to me and ill tell you what i can
Sometimes, server owners will put it in no refunds in their TOS.
And since you are technically "donating" and not buying a service, its going to be hard to sue them or what not.

If he denied the refund you need to take legal action and sue them! You need screen shot proof though
Ok here is why you are never going to get a refund if you are "donating". Especially if you are using PayPal.
PayPal doesn't deem "donating" a service. Thus when you open a dispute, if the server owner tells PayPal that you, the user, was donating, they will just close it.
You are not buying anything here. When you donate to the Red Cross or the Children Hospital, you are not getting anything in return. You are getting perks. Not a service.
Regardless if the owner had said that you would never be banned.
