When ever I go on my minecraft all servers except for a few say cannot connect. I have noticed it is only the ip's with words that do not work. Ive tried restarting my pc, restarting internet, redownloading java, and redownloading minecraft but nothing seems to work. Please reply i wanna play minecraft!!!!!!!!!:P

If you have a router and a decent security software you can turn off your computers firewall, the router will protect from attacks and security software pages you open etc..
its an exception and no mods
how do i allow it into my firewall?
The servers might be down... If the servers are not down, your network may have a firewall which is not allowing those host names through to your computer.
Do you have any mods installed? Do you have minecraft set as an exception in your firewall?
