Okay, I will try to explain this with as much detail as I can.
I am aware these sort of posts have been done before, but I have done a search and none of them have helped.

To start off, yesterday, I was having fun falling from massive distances, (This was on a world I had spent a lot of time on) so I decided to do /tp prettwaters ~ [Insert large amount of '9's] ~
Of course, the instant I teleported, I got the 'Illegal Stance'. This continues every time I try to get back into the world. I tried quickly typing /kill and even /tp prettwaters blah blah blah, but it never worked.

I found out that I could try moving the players position using MCEdit. So I downloaded the 32x version off the website. (I tried 64x, it doesn't work on my computer) (Also, it was MCEdit 0.1.7.1)

I opened it up in Winrar. And here's another problem that has been with me for a while. When I try to open or extract a .exe file, it comes up with an error.
Opening error: It just says that it cannot execute that file.
Extracting error: No files to extract.

Usually what I'd do is, change the file type into say a .jar or .zip, extract it, and then change it back to .exe. (Which is what I did at first) But when I went to open the mcedit.exe it just came up with a command prompt for a split second and then closes. Now, I was afraid that the reason for this is because me renaming the file could've corrupted it somehow?

So yeah, that's basically it.

Problems:
-Illegal Stance Error: Problem Fixed
-Winrar .exe Error
-MCEdit opens a command prompt and then closes it instantly: Problem Fixed

I'm on a Windows Vista. I don't know whether or not you need any more information so if so don't hesitate to ask.

PLEASE HELP ME, THE WORLD I WAS BUILDING ON I PLANNED TO POST ON PMC.

I know that, it's just, when it opens, it instantly closes and nothing else happens.

Whenever I get an issue like that, deleting the player.dat file usually helps

Trying installing X11 (now called XQuartz). This fixes it, at least in my experiences. If all else fails, you can get someone to do it for you.

You can use NBTExplorer to fix the problems in your world (your world must be a single player world)

1. download NBTExplorer
2. open your world in NBTExplorer
3. open level.dat
4. open the 'Player' tag
5. find and delete the 'Pos' tag ( if that doesn't work delete the whole 'Player' tag)
