Please help fix my dumb PC!

Hello to whoever reads this. I don't like to read either so ill make it short. I have done countless hours searching what is wrong with my pc and why I can run fortnite and gta in highest settings and still run above 50 fps. not the best but I'm not rich with the best spec on a pc. I have a intel i7-6700k with a gtx 1050 and 16gb of ram. why is it that I literally cant run a simple game like Minecraft? Please help me out! I think it has something to do with GeForce and Minecraft but I don't know anymore. when I try to load Minecraft worlds it just crashes and says java se binary not responding. HELP PLEASE PEOPLE!!!

As Oakar said, make sure you have latest drivers for your computer and that if you have a crash report that you should share it with us. Also, how much do you have allocated to Minecraft? I'm not too helpful with things like these but I know if a map is so big it may need more ram dedicated to it.
