I believe I've had a similar issue with Blender and NVIDIA (GeForce GTX 960M though, and it was only extremely laggy) until I updated my driver. Currently my own graphics are no problem at all. You mentioned Integrated Graphics as well, and that was my temporary solution to that problem. Is he definitely sure he doesn't need to update his graphics driver?

and my friend said he recently updated nvidia then it did this?

First of all, My friends computer is windows 10, its a laptop, its a nvidia graphics card but i dont know which one, and i dont know the rest, ill ask my friend the rest when hes online

There are multiple causes for this issue. To determine which one it is, we need more information. What version of Windows, what graphics card, is it a laptop or desktop, etc.

It could be the CPU, or the graphics driver. Is the CPU overclocked? Has the graphics driver been updated recently, or has any new software been installed?
