Im trying to run a server through home hosting but whenever i try to add more ram it says "the specific size exceeds the maximum represtentable size" this is the coding i use in the run.bat file

but ive tried less than 8gb but nothing works except for 1gb and i have 16gb in my pc so please help!

Don't format anything, go to control panel-java-java-runtime parameters and type up -Xms4096M -Xmx8G apply it and exit should work

ok go to my computer and format your recovery drive and you will be able to have more memory. it worked for my friends server and for my minecraft

idk how but i do know a new way how to make your minecraft run faster that not many people know how that worked instantly
