Plugins Help!?
I have been trying to make a good bukkit server but I'm very new at it so I apologize ahead of time if I use the wrong terms or my description for my problems are not very good.
My server runs fine, I just have trouble with some plugins especially essentials. I have no idea how to use it, what I am trying to do is mainly two things;
1. Add rankings (For example if I joined the game it would say [Owner]ribbygreen or if my friends went on it would say something like [Admin]super2918)
2. Add protection for buildings that are currently there especially the spawn point. I don't know how to make it so if somebody started breaking the wall it would say something like "you do not have permission to dig here"
Basically a helpful step-by-step response on how to use essentials and use permissions would be great.
One more confusion I had was if I should use GroupManager or just the permissions.yml file already in the server folder?

I use Iridium Server Manager
My server is up-to-date and runs fine, just the plugins I have issues with

AntiXRay
AutoMessage
Any helpful advice for any of those plugins would be great as well!

Search on youtube, there are many great examples. Also do not use the permissions.yml for permissions.
Everything on Essentials should be on their wiki.

Get a permissions plugin, GroupManager should work fine(GroupManager info is also on the Essentials wiki).
For protecting stuff, use WorldGuard, or some other plugin for protection. Even factions safezones work.

Permissions.yml is NOT a replacement Permission system and any permissions system should still be continued to be handled by a plugin.
