I looked in my Saves bar in .minecraft put the folder of the
Project i have i went back to minecraft clicked singleplayer and its not there? what do i do please help me

Thanks I get it now it's in the Single player bars? thanks for help Swaggeroni
You need a program like winRAR(many free programs available). Then you can use the program with the file to get the files that you really want, which you can use in your saves folder.

I dont get it
If it was in a zipped folder, which it probably was, make sure to extract the contents and put those in your saves folder. I'm not sure that Minecraft will read saves if they're in compressed folders.
