PMC server dynmap link crashes server

So I go to the dynmap link (server.planetminecraft.com:8000) and it didn't load. I went back to the server and I timed out about 10 seconds later. My internet was working fine at the time, so either this was a coincidence or something about that link crashes the server.
What is the real dynmap link and why does this happen? Help!
