Hey I heard that I need to do this thing called port-forwarding so that people don't have to join hamachi to get on my server.

Here are some things I know.

My router is on sky or something?

I'm currently using hamachi

There is a :25565 (port) on the end of the IP.

Does anyone know how I would go about port-forwarding my server?

Find your router username and password. Run the "cmd" program. Type "ipconfig" in the program. Enter your default gateway into the address bar on your browser. Type in the username and password. Go to the virtual gaming/advanced/port forwarding section of your router. Make sure the box to allow it is checked. Enter any name, like, "Minecraft". Enter your ip address, (also found in the cmd program under ipconfig. (ipv4)). Enter the port you want forwarded, (25565 is the default port for Minecraft). Make sure you set the next part to "Both" or "Any" instead of "TCP" or "UDP". Save changes. Go into server.properties in your server folder. Change the ip address to the one you entered in the port forwarding part of your router, (the ipv4 found in the cmd program.) Go to www.whatismyip.com and try to connect using the ip shown on there.

If you follow those steps correctly then people should be able to connect to your server without Hamachi. If this doesn't work I could help you out even more for $1.00 USD. I don't want to sound greedy but I need the money for my own server that I might have to shut down. For more information on why I need the money you can visit this link: http://bit.ly/LEG3az
