Okay, I want to run another server (Not whitelist). I have trouble port forwarding my router for my server. I have a centurylink pk5001z router, got it 2 days ago. I have port forwarded it, but it still didn't work. It always says "Cannot Bind Port", I hope someone knows how to help me. If you do you will get Moderator on my server.

the server-ip field in that file is an ip-bind setting. In other words, it actually restricts what the server listens to, not vice-versa.

Port forwarding is done through the router you connect to when you use the internet. I've already covered handling that on the first section of a guide below:

Don't forget to allow access through your firewall for java connections and port 25565.

Do the following!
1)CRTL+ALT+DELETE
2) GO TO PROCCESS
3)THEN LOOK FOR JAVAW.EXE
4) IF THERE ARE MORE THEN ONE DELETE THEM ONLY KEEP ONE!
5) THERE YOU GO ALL DONE!
