Port forwarding help
Hello,
I am trying to make a new minecraft server. I have been attempting to port forward my xfinity SMCD3GNV router to start the server. I turn on portforwarding on my router's page, and when i turn on the server, it starts up nomally. but the problem is, my friends cant connect! And i can! I am getting very tired of this and i need someone who either knows a lot about port forwarding or has had the same problem as me to help me through the process. I am on a macbook pro. anyone who helps me successfully will recieve mod or admin status on the new server, and have access to most or all of the commands.
PS. I do not have a static IP, because i couldn't connect to the internet when i did get one.I may have done it wrong

Ok, then how do i make a static Ip on a mac?
Then sir, if you do not have a static ip, you will have to keep changing the ip adress.
I'm on a mac...
