Port Forwarding Issues?
I used to have Verizon FiOS internet, and everything worked fine. But, recently my parents have swtiched us to Comcast xFinity. I port forward the server as normal, enter my IPv4 address, enter the port (25565), and I check the port at canyouseeme.org and it says it cannot see it, but before you reply wait until the end. I started up the server and check at canyouseeme.org and it says it can see the port. So, it only sees the port when the server is on? And, when I log on to Minecraft, other servers work, but, mine only connects with the Local IP, so only people on my network can join. My server cannot be on until this is fixed, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Probably others can connect with your external ip address, but you can't as you are within the network. Most routers overcome this problem, but yours probably does not. Also your router might close the port if there is no computer using the ip address that the port forward rule is setup on. Also, FYI comcast implemented 300gb data caps in some areas. A 1mbps constant stream, which is not much, over 1 month is about 324GB not including other traffic
Thank you so much! I disconnected from my WiFi on my phone and used data to ping the server on McLister and it connected, thank you so much!
