I recently switched to a new router and i was able to port forward perfectly fine with that router but the layout is totally different and I can't find any other help for this. Does anyone know how i can port forward using optimum?

Never heard of such a router TBH.
Most of the time it's called port forwarding, some times it's under firewall
and some have virtual server. I you want more direct help you can add me on skype.
