Posting maps on the forums?
How do I go about posting Minecraft maps to the forum?
Is there way to upload the file directly or do I need a drop box like account to do so?
I am kind of new here and don't exactly know where everything fits.
Any advice?

You can post your own map under the projects tab.
Simply click the projects button at the top of the screen.
Then it'll take you to another page and at the right you'll see the button ''Upload Project''.
Simply create your own project page and insert a download link (dropbox for example).
And boom you've uploaded a map!
