I think you should stick with 1.7.2 build unless you are an experienced Minecraft server owner and you know how to run a dev build. These builds have some errors and they are hard to run. I always use BETA build to stay up-to-date and not have too many issues. You can update if you want in bukkit.org. It's much easier to run craftbukkit 1.7.2 than 1.7.8. If you have a website, alert your player community to keep their MC clients to 1.7.2. You will have to have players heep their clients to that version. You can do anything you want, but that's my advice.
If you're using a computer to host the server, you need to download the 1.7.8 build from the bukkit, then go to your multicraft panel and go to ftp file access, then locate the old 1.7.2 server jar and replace it with the new 1.7.8 one. If you're using server hosting however, the host may well give you the option to update to the 1.7.8 version, bear in mind it's only been released recently, so the host if you're using one may not offer it for automatic install yet, in which case if you want the update now follow the manual install I've gone through above.
Still need help
YOu need to update your server, I've never used Multicraft before so you'll need to figure out how to do that in there unless someone else can tell you.
I know i have to update it but i don't have an idea how.
