I was using some falling blocks and they went into an unloaded chunk. When I went there the game crashed. Now I cant use commands in my world or redstone and spawn eggs don't work. The chunks that are a little bit further away wont load.
I think it might be a problem with the internal server but I don't know.
Its a single player world on java.

From what I can tell, ticks have completely stopped (hence most functions like commands, entities, redstone, etc. don't work)

I'm not sure what's causing this, but I suspect it might be some sort of corrupted entities or chunks or something of the sort, in which case deleting the files that contain said entities or chunks should fix the problem.

First, take a backup of the world in case somebody provides a better solution. Then get the coordinates of the place and use this tool to find out which region files you have to delete. Then go into the world's files and look for an 'entities' and a 'region' folder, and delete the corresponding file from both folders.

Note that this will delete nearby builds in a pretty large area, so be prepared to lose some stuff if its nearby.
