Problems loading a texture pack (1.12.2)

I played minecraft again after a few months without playing it and I have been having problems loading a texture pack, when selecting it, it takes a few minutes to load (much longer than the other texture packs that I have installed) and when it is finally finished loading it just appears on the left side of the texture pack window, as if it didn't load properly.

I like to build in creative mode and I like this texture pack a lot for that, the pack is designed for version 1.12.2 (in which I try to use it) although I play with forge installed, I also tried version 1.12.2 without forge, and it still doesn't work either

I think that maybe there is a corrupt file or something inside the folder, I would be very grateful if someone could help me solve it in some way, I like this pack a lot and I don't know why it is causing me trouble, tx
