Problems with downloading minecraft java server
Hi,
I've tried downloading Minecraft Java server but can't get it to download - it just keeps saying ''server.jar' was blocked because this type of file can harm your device.' But it's off the Minecraft website. I tried turning off the firewall on my security software but that didn't make any difference. Any ideas?

Thanks for the idea ,but unfortunately it didn't work. I you have any other ideas I would love to hear them ,otherwise no worries. :)
Jar files are basically .exe files and some malware can be distributed through these files. Hence the browser warns you.

What browser are you using? If its Chrome you can turn off safe browsing and then try to download it. Chrome can sometimes get fussy about downloads and visiting websites. I mean it was just a few weeks ago it was telling me how my own antivirus's website (bitdefender) is a "security risk"
