Properly enabling a server resource pack
Hello, I have made a private bukkit server. I have been trying to enable the server resource pack and I am not succeeding. How would I go about doing this properly?
Thanks!
Thanks!

UPDATE: The Client side textures stopped working all together. Is there possibly a CraftBukkit problem?
This is odd. I switched to media fire and now it works, but there is a catch.. Now everyone who joins gets the resource pack!..except for me. I play on the server computer and I don't even see the Downloading Texturepack when I log in. I have Server Textures enabled. What am I doing wrong now?
Should I use another service that would be easier than dropbox? If so, what?
I placed the pack in the "public" folder provided by dropbox.
I am using Adobe Edge Code.
thanks.

Dropbox should work, mind posting the link you're trying? You can try placing the link in quotes and seeing if that works.
Ok, thanks.
I still cant get it to work. If this helps, I just noticed that after my dropbox link, the next line that says pvp=true has both parts in the same color instead of one color=next color.

You're using dropbox? Make sure the link you are using for the resource pack is publicly available to access.
For the colours, it could be just due to your text editor. What are you using to edit your configs?

I just tried that, the link now points to a direct download in .zip format. When you go to log in the screen just says "Downloading Texture Pack Making Request... 100%" But nothing after that; it just gets stuck there. Also is there a way to just have the file locally hosted? Like a directory as oppose to a link? Thanks.
There's no way to host them locally, unless you can access the file with a link. If you're using a game server provider I'm fairly certain this isn't possible.
I needs to be a direct link to the .zip file such as http://example.com/resourcepack.zip
What have you tried so far?
I so far have tried setting "resource-pack=" to "true" and creating a folder in my server folder called resourcepack with my resource pack in it.
I have also tried uploading my resourcepack to dropbox and specifying the link in the properties after resource-pack="LINK_HERE.com" with and without quotes on the link. When I, or anyone joins my server, no-one seems to even get the "downloading resourcepack" uppon login.
If possible, I would prefer that the file was locally hosted.
Thanks.
EDIT: I tried a different method of getting the link. Now when you log in, you get the "Downloading Texture Pack" but it gets stuck at 100% and does not load. Does it need to be a .zip or regular folder?
