Public IPv4 Doesn't Work for Server, Local Does.sentiment_very_dissatisfied
Hello! I'm making a server and am using a No-Ip subdomain. I found my public IPv4 and entered it in my No-Ip dashboard and started the server. I enter the domain and the correct port into Minecraft, and "Connection Refused: No Further Information". Well, I know this isn't true because the console did not tell me anything about errors, etc.
I try with my local IPv4 and it works for some reason? I have followed any steps to set up the domain for both Paper and Forge, still nothing for public ipv4.
What could it be due to? Any help?
Thanks,
Tommy :)

A no-ip subdomain will only point a url at your public ip. However, your server will still be behind your firewalls - either the server software firewall, or the router firewall - or possibly both.
Try somewhere like here for how to set up your router for port forwarding :
https://portforward.com/
In your case, assuming your server is a different pc to where you are running your client, then it sounds as if the server software firewall is allowing java through ok, in which case, its more likely to be your router that's blocking it. If both server and client are on the same machine, then server-side blocking may still be a problem.
