I was playing on a server peacefully finding seeds for a farm, I had nothing but a hoe then suddenly someone with diamond armor and a diamond sword just comes up and senselessly murders me!
I didn't think it was fair that I was murdered for no reason so I killed the person when he was unarmed and I got banned from the server!
What is wrong with people in pvp servers these days?!

No hammer. Didn't want to be killed HE turned pvp on for me and every time he hit me the conmand I had typed disappeared cause I was getting hurt

Though on one server i was playing normal, then two trolls appear and start camping in the main city, killing everyone on sight, armed or unarmed, and then they went into peoples houses, camped, then demanded tribute. I was the only one really able to fight them so i guerrilla fought against them along with baited, but i did kill them both several times without dieing myself, but it felt like they had infinite diamonds (which they did because they hacked them in). Also every time they killed or died, they said "UMAD?" and they also said, in their defense, that they were just skilled pvpers, murdering several unarmed people and camping, very masterful
Wow, that is very skillful, I wonder how hard it was to get those diamonds, must've taken EONS, I mean seriously, whats your problem? You just jelly because they are good?
Factions Seem To be tons more popular than towny and there are so many pvp servers..... ive been looking for a towny server for over a month (i have found a few but there crap)

third, that person was being a flipping idiot and a loser. not ALL pvp servers are like that. most pvp servers are fun and the players and admins are quite nice!
fourth, if ur being attacked, then for goodness sakes use some common sense and fight back!!! i mean wat ever if he had armor u should have armor if you have TWO STACKS of iron! come on!

We have towny on our server for a reason
the server had that plugin, but I was finding seeds to make a farm to earn some money.
I honestly do find that many PVP servers are corrupt but what do you expect when the server revolves around killing?
I think it is fair to a limit, i myself love to pvp people, but at a limit. I will only really pvp people whoare being rude to me, griefers, and rare occasion an unarmed player, but if i kill an unarmed player i will give any items back.
Servers with scavenger are great for pvp since you never loose your stuff.

Unfair I agree with you on one server I was one some guy from a faction said they would let me join if I come to their spawn. I came then the owner of the faction who happened to be a moderator turned pvp on for me tped me into water and was slashing at me with a fishing pole that surprisingly does damage long range. I had 2 64 stacks of iron and 1 64 stack of bread. Then I told the other guy to give it back he did then he banned me for "stealing" his stuff
